I give this book a AAA rating. It is a much needed book for the challenges of moving up the corporate ladder in the 21 Century. Working hard is necessary but not sufficient to continuous progress. Read it and enhance your possibilities – amazing that situation you find yourself in is more universal than you thought. Better yet, there are solutions. Consider it your career GPS.

This book is a “must read” for executives at any stage of their career. It gives invaluable advice on not only the big career decisions but as importantly, the nuances and often overlooked details of becoming successful in business today. I picked it up originally thinking it was about being at a career crossroads (which it does cover), but found it to be so much more. The chapter on office politics alone gives insights and advice that would have positively changed my own career had I read it years ago.
